About me (aka, why work with me?);

I have been working with bodies in motion since 2010, when I got my start as a CrossFit Coach and Personal Trainer focusing on mobility and quality movement. My own experience with chronic pain and musculoskeletal dysfunction took years to work through, and was only possible because of the help I had from my own team of movement specialists and manual therapists. Inspired and encouraged by those who helped me, I dug into my passion for helping people find their own success. After several years and a LOT of learning, I decided to compound my Personal Training certification by also becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist and ART Practitioner. With this combined skillset I am able to help a wide range of folks - from high-level athletes to those who are just beginning their movement journey - to obtain and maintain a healthy and functioning body.

My philosophy behind my practice revolves around what my clients want to DO with their bodies and how they want to FEEL. Helping people to find the intrinsic value in regular movement and healthy lifestyle habits is my goal for every client with whom I work. I have found that my collaborative approach to training helps folks to become self-motivated and empowered to make fitness a lifestyle and a non-negotiable part of their daily lives. Rewarding doesn’t even begin to describe it!
